A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. My cousin Ritchie is very sick with leukemia that he rec'd working at ground zero, plus he is on dialysis, and just had heart surgery. I know it must be very hard on him and his wife linda, Please God take care of them both.
