A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. We also pronounce our sincerest gratitude to the Blessed Virgin Mary, St Joseph her spouse, St George Preca of Malta, St Rita of Cascia, and St Jude the Apostle, who interceded for all of us during our extremely difficult circumstances.
