God Is Good
Loving God, from now on let us not desire health or life except to spend them for you and with you. You alone know what is good for us. Therefore, do whatever seems best to you. Give to us or take from us. We desire to adore equally all that comes to us from you, our Lord and God. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by Blaise Pascal)

God, Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You for creating in us this powerful feeling of affection between one another. It is to Your greater glory that You, in Your creation design, put this emotion called ‘love’ as the centre of gravity of human life. It is only to the foolishness of humans that, very often, the centre of gravity is shifted with disastrous effects. Abbā, in Jesus’ name who said, ‘Peace I leave you, my peace I give you,’ pep up in us a spirit of unity and cooperation. Amen.
