Give us the wisdom to follow your call. Enliven us with the grace to be repairers and restorers of your love. Help us to be people of mercy and hope and to bring that mercy and hope to all we meet. JOHN 15:2 (NIV)**********"TODAY I SPENT TIME OUTSIDE pruning grapes, wisteria, and hydrangea--and remembering my parents. They were landscapers, and as they workd, I'd watch. The care and wisdom they displayed when tending plants fascinated me. How could they know when and how much to trim off? Wouldn't it hurt the plant? Why were some bushes pruned so hard? *** They taught me by their actions. I learned the proper techniques slowly, until they seeped into my soul. Prune back to the joint to keep visual integrity. Cut on a slant to speed healing. Trim at the right time for that particular bush or vine so it doesn't go into shock, and will blossom or bear fruit next season. ***Years later, as an adult, I keep these tips tucked inside my mind like a treasure, ready for referencing in my yard. When pruning, I visualize my parents' hands guiding my own and feel their love.***Thanks to my mother and father, when Jesus disciplines me, I see what He's doing and In understand. Has He removed a hidden temptation from me, trimming way back its source? Did He cut me free from an unforgiven hurt, allowing me to heal and blossom again for Him? Have I reached a season where He wants me to address a tough issue I've ignored or avoided? All His pruning is necessary, even if it first pains me. I'm learning to accept it with gratitude. ***I'm His blessed creation, one of His flowers. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Eternal God, as I thank You for allowing me a new day, I give You praise for the marvels coming from You which surround our life. More precious than jewels or pearls, some people enter our lives so that with their silence, they change us as they give glory to Your divine name. But then, when You decide to call back any one of them, our world falls apart. One such jewel was Margaret who tragically, died drowned in her youth. In Jesus’ name, our Abbā in heaven, I ask, have mercy on her soul. Amen.

My husband needs prayers of support. He is stressed out every day in his thoughts and his mind. He keeps repeating hurtful actions that happened to him 30 years ago. Please help him in Jesus name.

We also discovered a round white stone that fit inside. We brought them home, and marveled at how much they looked like modern sculptures we'd seen. **I called it Mother and Child; my hubby called it Baseball and Mitt. It's amazing how many different things we see in those two stones. As with abstract sculpture, viewers bring their own perspective.**It's interesting how many different perspectives people bring to their understanding of Jesus. When He walked on the earth, confusion reigned. To some, He as the son of a poor local carpenter. Others saw Him as a potential political leader. Some believed He was a new incarnation of John the Baptist, Elijah, or Jeremiah. Simon Peter proclaimed, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."***Who do we say Jesus is? The way we answer that question is vital. Do we see Him only as a good man or role model? A wise teacher? Or do we fully embrace the identity He reveals? He tells us He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. When we acknowledge this truth, our view of Him changes. Heavenly Father, I know you see my heart and you can hear me. Help me today and hear my cry for a new job. I am unhappy with my job and I must say my managers are bent on seeing me fail. Please bring a permanent solution to this heartache for me. I know your word which you said to me "I did not bring you this far to leave you alone" will come to pass.
