We give you heartfelt thanks, O Loving God, for the rest of the past night and for the gift of a new day, with all its opportunities of pleasing you. Grant that as we live the hours of this day we will do so with joy, faith, hope and love in service of you. So that when evening comes upon us we will again give thanks to you for your many gifts that enriched us throughout the day. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen! O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. "GOD IS GOOD" Thank you father for another blessed day. Thank you for the blessing of my son's, my grands, my family and my friends. Especially those friends who look at us differently, and want to do us harm. Help us to pray for them father, because we're not evil and we don't want to be evil. Please God watch over my son Jay and his friend Christina and her son Christian, as they prepare to come home today. Please let them have a safe trip coming home, please bless all those riding in that train with them, and please guide them all home safely Amen
