PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

Lord thank you for answering my prayers and giving me additional work hours on my job, so that I am able take care of my financial obligations especially paying for health insurance. Relieve my anxiety and concerns, strenghten my faith and help me to remember that whatever worries we have in our lives, once it is placed in your hands, we should not question, but know that we can always trust in you. Prayer for my 45th birthday. Praying for my husband who travels for his job Praying for the lost and disconnected such as my sister who said she is lonely. She also is hard to get along with. We think she is mental and needs therapy. She is having an affair with a married man. I guess he is the only one that is nice to her when it comes to communication with the opposite sex. She has no friends at work, outside of work which I have asked. I am just grossed out that she meets this married man every weekend. Her 15 1/2 yr old son has said he cannot talk to her and can't understand why she is so angry that he has decided to live with his dad. (My sister is 44 and lives at home with my folks, she can't afford a place of her own). I am sickened she wastes her money traveling 2 hrs away to a hotel to see this man. Her priorities are messed up.
