PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for all you do and all provide. Please help all of us with all we do and all we need to do. Please allow all of us to be healthy, safe free from all harm and violence. Please allow all of us to travel and commute safely always, allow us to depart, arrive and return safely always. Help all in need. Help all with their faith. Help all with their relationships, employment, finances, all needed to sustain life. Help all live and enjoy life, appreciate all the good and beauty in each other, in the world, in faith and love. Please be with us, guide us, help us Lord with all things. Help the world have peace for everyone. Help all with their needs. Thank You.

I pray for my father who suffers from dementia that he will be blessed by the holy spirit and ease whatever discomfort he is in. Bless the caregivers that work everyday to make him healthy and strong to see another day by the grace of God.
