ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Dear Lord please watch over my Mom. Provide her protection from those whom wish to do her harm. Protect and guide me in my new positions at work. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for her. Help her acquire a job. Continue to provide protection, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability, and piece of mind to my family and me. Help my special someone’s Knee and soul heal that he may find peace. Let there be authenticity, respect, truthfulness, appreciation, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Dear Lord, Help me to know what to do about my "noisy" neighbor who plays his media so loud I can hear it in my apartment upstairs. I have asked him to turn it down to no avail. Help me to deal with it and be able to not be angry and to think clearly despite all.

Please let my hip surgery on September 23rd be successful, let me heal completely and swiftly if it be you will and help me to get everything arranged for the surgery and post ops successfully.
