"What will we eat?" or "what will we drink?" or "What will we wear?".....But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." ***Matt 6:31-33 (NRSV)***********"IF WE ARE LOOKING FOR reasons to be stressed in our home right now, we don't have to look far. My husband lost his job and has been looking for work for several months. A close relative on my side of the family is using this crisis to exacerbate tensions with his side of the family. And our children are old enough to pick up on what is going on. ****We have been in this situation before, and this time around I can see clearly that all is not lost. Last time Tony was unemployed it seemed like it went on forever, but Jesus kept whispering to us. Keep following me. In retrospect, I can now see that time of "unemployment" was in fact a crucial time in our very young children's lives when the daily love and care their father so attentively offered them allowed them to blossom. And when he did (finally!) find a job, it was a wonderful fit: running residential shelters for formerly homeless families.******So this time around I'm whispering to Jesus, "Yes, we'll keep following You." our children are now on the cusp of adolescence, and we realize that every day that Tony can be a full-time parent with them is a gift. We see that they are thriving;' we both know that this is due in part to the extra time and attention from their dad.*****There's a sense of peace in our home right now that I would never associate with an employment crisis, but that I do associate with having Jesus around the house. Please Lord Jesus stop prevent and cure the covid-19 virus pandemic and fix all it disrupted. Please Lord fix the inadequate Labor department Unemployment Benefit Insurance program its is NON FUNCTIONAL . The system for filling for unemployment has NOT worked in 7 weeks now. Its a constant process of repeating the same format of filling, calling, enter more data more phone calls and NO PROGRESS to register. Politicians say you will not loose any money you will get retro active . How do you live without daily needs you have to pay for. HELP FOR THE OUTDATED UNEMPLOYMENT SYSTEMS. Help for the mental state people are experience for no fault of their own. Lord fix the problems that have now show the world how unprepared it is for a crisis. Allow countries to be self sufficient and not have to depend on Medicines, sustainable products, manufacturing from other areas. Lord please don't let bad politicians that have never worked in the real world determine what is needed by their way of life. Open the eyes, minds and hearts for all to see what is wrong, what has been made to be wrong by bad leaders with no knowledge of everyday living and working for a paycheck. Lord please end the misery, sadness, ignorance replace it with knowledge truth and humanity.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. and all my friends and family from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time.
