MERCY & COMPASSION - Almighty and ever-loving God, look with compassion and mercy on our humanness, on all our struggles and weaknesses. Strengthen us for the journey ahead. Give us the wisdom to follow your call. Enliven us with the grace to be repairers and restorers of your love. Help us to be people of mercy and hope and to bring that mercy and hope to all we meet. Amen!
Thank you Dear Lord Jesus for all you do and all you provide for each of us. Please help each of us. Please allow health and safety for everyone. Please cure the sick. Please heal all who are suffering. Please help the world and all in it. Thank you. Amen.

"ST FRANCIS forbade his friars from riding on horseback with two exceptions: necessity or infirmity. The prohibition then covered elaborate modes of travel. (Think of an armored knight on a fine horse. Or a closed carriage.) Today it applies positively to using mostly public transportation or sharing modest vehicles. Not much ministerial walking nowadays! ****St Anthony covered long distances on his preaching tours. No surprise that he went about mostly on foot, as did the other friars. A leisurely pace, to be sure, but one that allowed rest stops and exchanges(and gospel witness!)to folks along the way. ***Life as a journey is a shopworn metaphor. But true it is nonetheless -with beginning, middle, and end. We have a faith journey as well. Faith, we know, is a gift from God received at baptism and nurtured through life. Lived faith is a beautiful description of the process. Since I was also eager to get home in time to watch my favorite game show, Jeopardy. I told myself, "I will call Mrs. McGee another day." However, my soul would not rest until I dialed her number.****When the elderly widow answered the pone, I chimed, "Hello! How's it going?" ***Mrs McGee explained that she needed someone to purchase and deliver dinner to her home because her daughter had to work late that evening. Mrs. McGee went on to say that she was not on any restrictive diet and whatever I purchased would satisfy her appetite. ****I stopped at a local diner to purchase a blue-plate special complete with iced tea and apple pie for dessert. O St. Theresa, Powerful Intercessor, you have promised to "let fall a shower of roses" from Heaven as your message of love for all who seek your assistance. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. and all my friends and family from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Lord please help all in need. May 1st no jobs no income bills are due, rents, mortgages payments due. Lord help is needed to make financial and health needs available. Please help fix the problems. Allow productive communications about the issues and the solutions to fix the broken world.
Dear Lord the world needs help for health and everyday life. Lord please help people to have the resources to live and have what is needed. Please help all who are not working due to the shutdown from the pandemic. Help all with financial needs. PLEASE FIX THE LABOR DEPARTMENT UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS going into 8 weeks and the system is not functional. Please inform the leaders to get the UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS PAY CHECKS OUT TO THOSE IN NEED. And please end the pandemic soon. Amen.
Thank you Lord for my safe travel to get supplies. Please help the stores get stock products that have been depleted. Lord help all workers to be safe. Help people shop safely, smart, be considerate and move along to help the stores and the people waiting on line outside to get in. The way we shop now is different and needed for all to be protected and safe
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for all you do and all you provide for each of us. Please keep all who are working healthy and safe. Please cure the sick. Please heal all who are suffering. Please comfort all who loss loved ones. Please help my family all people and myself. Please end the terrible pandemic crisis and allow a cure to be created. Please help everyone to stay healthy. Please allow the world to recover and gain knowledge how to live in the future. Please allow everyone to travel, commute and drive safely to depart, arrive and return safely now and always. Merciful God of Love, from the misery of the sinner that I am, I thank You for allowing me another day in which I can enjoy and cherish my loved ones, praise You and give glory to Your beautiful name. With pleasure, I recall that from the early days of creation, You showed us that we are to work to be worthy of having food on our table. Jesus Himself taught us that work is a blessing from heaven, and we should appreciate work. In His name, I plead, let all workers safely earn their living. Amen.

Please stand at the side of all medical professionals who are putting themselves at risk while they work to bring healing to others. Lord, we are scared and we are sorrowful. Please heal us. Send us your peace and overwhelming presence. Please end the CoronaVirus Pandemic now… St. Damien of Molokai, you put yourself at risk to minister to those suffering from leprosy, pray for us! Please Lord repair update redo and make functional the broken unemployment benefits claim system. The labor department system has not fully functioned in 7 weeks. It is not possible to register for benefit unemployment pay. It is a cycle of forms, calls, email, different representatives that ask the same questions , same forms, going into 7 weeks. Please help we cannot go to work. Work is closed. Supplies are needed, bills are due, and no income please help the millions of people in need.
