MERCY & COMPASSION - Almighty and ever-loving God, look with compassion and mercy on our humanness, on all our struggles and weaknesses. Strengthen us for the journey ahead. Give us the wisdom to follow your call. Enliven us with the grace to be repairers and restorers of your love. Help us to be people of mercy and hope and to bring that mercy and hope to all we meet. Dear Lord please help each of us. Help us to do good for each other. Please help us to all make the world a better place for everyone to live in peace and health. Please end the crisis pandemic and allow us to learn from it what to do and how to live in the world together in the future after covid-19.

The ripple effect is powerful and close to home. My own children's Florida schools now have much more stringent security and measures in place, including extensive staff training and armed-security details on campus.****Fear of random violence has never topped my list, but this recent spate of terror has ramped it up. I'm more aware now when a real or imagined threat appears. With Jesus's help, I've pushed through fear before. I marinate in Scripture. I dance and sing praise. I share my fear with trusted others. More often, "I feel the fear and do it anyway." But sometimes I cower for a spell. Jesus is still with me.****In the story of the terrified apostles caught on a very windy Sea of Gallilee (Mark 6:45-51), Jesus had actually "sent" them on the boat. By themselves. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. and all my friends and family from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Eternal God, on this glorious morning I give You thanks for the restful night I enjoyed, and for the gifts which You sprinkled on me yesterday. I do not have adequate words good enough to praise Your divine name, nor a heart loving enough where You can reside. What I have is a stubborn and resolute mind that will keep loving You as it searches for You. Thus, along with others, Almighty Father, I plead to You, take the pains and hurts I suffer today, as my offer for the conversion of souls. Amen.
Lord Jesus, Thank you for the many blessings you have given our family. Be with AG as she continues her therapy. Give me patience and kindness as I take care of my husband. Keep his dementia from progressing any further. Lord Jesus, we place our trust in You.
