PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

A wonderful generous man, was killed recently when he was hit by a motorcycle while on vacation in the Dominnican Republic. His name was Frank Conte and he touched the hearts of many people in his neighborhood in N.Y.C. and we are still in shock over his untimely passing .Although he will be buried in Las Vegas according to the wishes of his brother John, we pray that a memorial service will be held for him back home in Manhattan where many of his dear friends can have some closure and honor his life and legacy.In Jesus name we pray.Rest in peace for we will always love him.
