PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

We need all the positive energy out there for this: my friends grandson (Kash Scheufler) is 13 months old and has been in the hospital since Monday. The doctors can't figure out what is going on with him. They had just came back from the Ozarks, on Sunday he had a slight fever. On Monday his mom and Kash were taking a nap and he awoke her with a Grand Mal seizure. The Wesley West ER could not stop it and they rushed him to the neonatal intensive care at Wesley. He now has double pneumonia, they think possibly that he exasperated into his lungs while in the seizures. He is in an incubator, he has 14 tubes going in and out of him. They still can't diagnosis what's wrong. Your prayers will be a wonderful help! God Bless, Julie
