Thank you Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Virgin Mary and all saints for letting K come home from hospital; please watch over her and let her continue to heal; please watch over me and let me continue to heal; please allow my employer and treating md to accept my requested modifications. Please let M and her family regain their health. I pray for the souls of the people that died in the horrible crash in Spain and the people that are dying in the middle east. Dear Who, I just thought I would start by calling you such, as it is known in some circles, you are quite mysterious. I kind of like it, as it doesn't really dictate any gender. Anyway, I recall a movie program where one character told another that we are not all "snowflakes", meaning that we are not all completely individual. I can relate to this, as I get older, I see people that fit into, perhaps, a category, but at the same time, perhaps, also quite individual. Confusing? Yes! -Anyway, one "category" is as I might call the "Preacher". It's honestly not my favorite, well.....they are so "preachy" (ha ha ha). But, still I find that they all belong, and definately have their place. One such person, that is actually a preacher, and not pretending to be one, as a means to talk to a congregation, is Richard Rohr. He has done some extensive research on male initiation through many different cultures and has come up with 5 basic principles that a person would find in all of them. These are those, as I understand it: -Life is hard, -Your life is not about you, -You are not important, -You are not in control, -You are going to die. This is from his book called "Adam's Return", it is a good read. I understand he also has a program called "illuman" which actually puts words into practice.(Orthopraxy) Interesting Lord, no? I think so. Amen.

I ask special prayer for my friend K who is presently in the hospital and dealing with much suffering. I pray that K's mortgage is fixed.
