A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. For the passing of immigration reform this year as many Catholic families are burdened by the lack of a reform. Especially for the ones who were brought to this country as children and have lived here their whole lives. All that they want is to be able to live and work in the only place that they call home.
