A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Dear God thank you for the gifts and blessings you give me. I pray that my mother's surgery will be successful and without complications. I pray for my cousin to have peace. I pray that the Holy Spirit will enlighten Ms S to find the right doctors who will agree. I pray that I get restored to sanity without any body contesting or putting obstacles in my way. I pray for good health, peace, and financial stability for me, my mother and my family.

Please pray that we both can retire very soon and are financially secure and physically healthy so that we can improve our home, yard, etc. as well as to keep up with the expected and unexpected bills, share time with our relatives and friends, some of which are elderly or in ill health, maybe enjoy some short trips and enjoy the beauty of God’s world at a slower pace.
