ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

PRAYERS DESPERATELY NEEDED - I have a miserable abusive brother, along with his abusive ignorant, uneducated wife, who are non-stop on top of me, consistently laying the law down for me, controlling me and since I am an educated woman, I don't want ignorant back-stabbing people in my life. These ignorant people will not leave me alone. I have told him not to call me, but he will not stop, and thinks I should be sitting in the house all the time for him. I hate him so, so much from the bottom of my heart. Dear Lord, get them out of my life and keep them out, immediately.

Please pray that I have peace in my life. I have an abusive brother who is such a bully, non-stop fighting with me, screaming, yelling, cursing, hanging up on the phone on me, constantly on top of me, and attempting to make all the laws for me, and has made my life so miserable, along with his abusive, ignorant, uneducated woman who is also at me and is taking full control over me since the passing of my dear Mother (RIP) and has a wife who is a 2-faced cut-throat backstabber. My life is never going to be the same. I have been praying so hard for peace and feel this will never come to me. What am I supposed to do? I want him out of my life completely. He just keeps pushing, pushing and he will not stop at me. He is an unhappily married man, who is constantly laying the law down and controlling me. He sees that I do not him and he will not leave me alone. I HATE him.

Dear Lord, intercede and pray for my Husband and I, to give him peace and calm and help our relationship. And for my family. We are struggling with so many problems that are mind boggling and I don't know how to fix it. Please forgive me of my sins and mistakes. I am trying so hard but there is so much pain and hurt and anger and blaming. There are also other relatives that continue to harm us and we are suffering so much. It has gone on for too long. I don't see and end to all the trouble they are causing to us. I don't know what to do anymore.
