ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

With heartfelt thanksgiving for keeping my baby grandson safe while he was alone outside for 35 minutes , dearest Jesus and all the angels and saints who carefully enfolded him with your love. And thank you Blessed Mother to whom that baby was consecrated . I am forever grateful and send love and thanksgiving . Amen

Oh Lord. I pray for the soul of my mother Debbie Ingram. She died on 23 August 2013. I pray that she is in heaven safe and at peace.

Oh lord I pray for the intersession of members of my family that have strayed from the church, I pray for my father Richard, my sister Aimee her husband Timmy and my husband Roger. I wish they to be closer to one another and closer to the Lord God. Amen.
