Father in heaven, we thank You for all You are doing in our lives now. Help us to discern when to take action & when to step back, & let You work. Let our will & Yours be the same. Forgive our sins & pour out Your Spirit among us! Yes! Come Holy Spirit, come! "Renew the power of our baptismal cleansing & fill us with zeal for good deeds." Remove from our minds every thought You would not sanction & every feeling from our hearts You would not approve. We give You our burdens. We have done our very best to remedy these ourselves. But, we cannot bring them to completion, even through our best efforts, Lord. Now, we place them at Your feet and say, "Here. Take this. We have given our all-- & it is not-- nearly sufficient. Our yolk is too heavy, Father. We need You to bring to pass every hope we have been trying to fulfill. May our hopes be the same as Yours & take these burdens & make them real & lasting as only You can do. For these & all the things we should be praying to You for, we ask of You now, in Jesus' name. Amen.
