Dear God .. we pray for those suffering from the weather in Texas. We pray for fires in Montana, Oregon and throughout the country. We especially pray for the sale of our home so that we can move to a location where my husband can more easily receive health services. We are grateful for helping in James s.'s spleen removal. We now ask for prayers that his body will begin to accept regular food so he can begin his long recovery and fight off infections.
Also pray for his caregivers. Especially David who has an illness of his own and who has lost a close friend this week.

Please pray for me. It has been hard for me to open up to people. I have sometimes allowed rejection to hold me back from being what God wants me to be--which is a loving and sharing Christian.
Will you pray for me that I become a more open and loving person; a person that reflects Christ? Pray that I move on toward being more like Christ. For, that it what I want most of all.
