Dear Lord, You planned for me to be born and raised within a community which is built on values – humane values. For this Lord, I thank and praise You. However, like any other community, mine is assiduously being bombarded by the filth of today's world. Many a time I feel I should stay put. But I know that I have to give back to the community that has inspired me. I cannot feel content looking the other way. I have to do my part not to let evil triumph. Dear God of love and mercy, grant me strength, wisdom, love, and tenacity, to know what to do and say, and when to do it. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, and for Your greater glory. Amen.
