Merciful and Loving Father I thank You for a new day. I praise and glorify You for seeing me through the troubles of yesterday. In Jesus' name I bring before You Dodo's sister and others who are passing through therapies against cancer. I offer all the troubles, pains, worries, and sorrows I may have today for their sake. In their ocean of pain and misery, strengthen them and ease their anxieties. Fill them with Your grace and comfort. May the hands of our Lord Jesus the Healer touch them. Amen.

"Now finish the work, in that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means." 2 CORINTHIANS*******"I'M A GREAT "STARTER" I instigate enthusiastic ideas, whether they involve cleaning a closet, canning jam, or planting a huge garden. However, I often get in over my heard. Once all the items are pulled from the closet, the mess overwhelms me. After I get my canning supplies assembled, the many steps involved become daunting. And that huge garden? By midsummer, the weeds win the battle as I tire of the project. Follow-through is also difficult as a disciple of Jesus. Like James and John, I might boldly leave everything to follow, I may walk faithfully alongside the Savior, but then doubt His presence. Like Peter, I enthusiastically proclaim my loyalty to my Savior. yet when confronted with social pressure, I shrink into myself, unable to even admit I serve Him. Sometimes we think life should get easier as time goes by, but it's often during the last stretch of the race when the muscles scream to quit. It's the last contractions of childbirth that are the fiercest. Are you in a place of exhaustion , feeling unable to finish the work of serving Jesus where He has placed you today? Take heart! Even as He calls us to endure, He also promises to work in and through us. Lord Jesus this world needs help. Politicians need to work together to get things done to protect and uphold laws and the legal system. They need to work for the needs of the people fix the problems that exist and need repair. Cleanse their minds open their hearts heal their thinking and vision to see what is real and true. Allow forgiveness, truth, love, hope and a future.

Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles.
