ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Yes, God is Good. Thank you God for another day with you and the holy family. My son's, my grand's, my family and friends. Father my son needs you help. He needs strength. He needs a way to prepare for what's about to happen in his life now. He doesn't know how, and he's not listening to me. If I am telling him the wrong thing, then please guide me and help me to teach him the right things. Thank you Father. I Love you. Amen.

Please pray for my family. My two sons 41 and 39 live with me. The 41 year old helps me some financially but needs to do more. The 39 year old gives me nothing and seldom works. There is always some wrong with his pay so he says when does work. He spends money on women, drugs and drinking. He needs to move. I have asked him to move. Please pray that he will get his own apartment and learn how to take care of himself. I am on a fixed income and I need all the financial help I can get. Thank you so much.

Although I feel that I am not worthy to bow at the foot of Your throne to honour You because of who You are, I am confident that You will not shun me because You are a Caring God, merciful and kind. Please pray for my friend Rose she is having a problem with her leg from her knee down being red and swollen . The doctors can’t seem to find the problem she has had all kinds of test. Tomorrow she gets results of her last test please pray they have a solution and they can help her.Thank you.

Dear Lord, I pray: for all of our family members to get along with each other much, much better right away -- and that we enjoy each other’s company, have great conversations, respect each other, and that we have fun together. for my son to be honest and trustworthy and legal now and forever, for my son to go to confession as soon as possible and return to full communion with the Catholic Church right away, and become a great Christian, Catholic gentleman who becomes a great witness for the Lord and His Church, in thanksgiving that my son got a job – that he might do very well at it, enjoy it, work full time or more at it, develop skills and traits and wisdom that guide him to what he should be doing next in life, and for all of my family's ailments -- spiritual, physical, mental, or emotional -- to be cured quickly and completely, most especially the depression and anxiety affecting my son. May they go away without the use of drugs of any type. Thank you
