Almighty God, I adore You, worship You and give You thanks for giving me a new day in which to become a better person. You are a truthful God, and You always keep Your word. Heavenly Father, in the name of the Precious Lamb, Jesus my defender, the way, the truth, and the life, I pray: instil in me and in all my loved ones the tenacity to be truthful in any circumstance, trial or temptation. In a world revolving on a bold axle of lies, to achieve this we pray for faith, courage, and wisdom. Amen.

Dear Lord. I started a new job last week. Well, same job position but different office. I transferred because I felt I needed a change and wanted to expand my skills in hopes of moving up within the organization. I’ve been employed with the same department for the past 12 and 1/2 years. Though I am not completely new, the scope of my work is different. I still feel a bit nervous as I am relearning things, especially some I have not seen in quite a while. Last week, I had lost some sleep as I would wake up in the morning before it was time to get up and was unable to fall back to sleep. I am hoping that subsides over time and I become more acquainted with my new duties. Everyone has been so nice and my supervisor has been really patient. I just wish I could tell myself it will be alright. I also applied for and should be hearing about an interview shortly for a supervisor position at the office I just came from. I do miss my cousin and have been wanting to move up for quite some time. The timing was off as I was hired for my current job in the midst of applying for this other one. Tomorrow will be 8 years since my father died unexpectedly from a heart attack. It feels like just yesterday. I still miss him a great deal. I am also concerned about my wife as she has been having a lot of health issues, pain, and discomfort. I wish she could enjoy life more so and get back to doing the things she enjoys. Thank you.

Oh, my dearest Lord, I am so thankful for all the blessings you have given me during my life. I pray my Husbands Biopsy comes back negative. I pray my terminally ill Sister who has cancer through her body at the young age of 44 will be blessed with a miracle of recovery or remission. Should it not be your will please let her remaining days be pain-free and come time please welcome her into your arms. Please give me the strength to hold strong in my faith. I know whatever may happen it is your will. I will always be grateful for the memories of a wonderful family in which you gifted me during my life and know I will be reunited with them when you call me home.
