Praise God for Fr. Jim's homily on family, it was very healing to me. May God bless the young man who Fr. Jim spoke about, to find a loving family in the church. May he be healed of all he has suffered and made strong to be a healing
balm for others in the world. May this young man become a wounded healer in a broken world and do great things for Jesus. I praise God for the Holy Family, The Holy Trinity who embraces me and all who call upon them in love and unity. May our oneness with God go beyond us to embrace the world through His healing love. LORD GOD...I beg for your Loving Mercy... Please bless my son Emmanuel, that he will slow down, if not stop, his vice of drinking liquor which sometimes makes his thoughts and attitudes go to bad. Please make him realize that it does not do good for himself, his job and his family. Please bless him that he will slow down from emotional distress at times. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. You know the names, the needs and the hearts of those who are suffering, those You have laid on my heart. Please,Lord, help them, and help me. It seems like, at this moment I am surrounded with so many people who are enduring so much that I am lost in their pain. Please, keep me strong for them. With You, Your Blessed Mother and Your Holy and wise father, please grant me courage that I can love them all with Your love. Help me to listen for you so that you can use me. Father God, thank You for sending Your beloved Son Jesus, to show us the way, redeem us from sin and bring us back to You. In His name I pray: Abbā, spare us from the modern Herods who murder children before they are born. Protect us from those who kill children by abusing them immorally, sexually, or otherwise. Bring to justice those Herods who exploit children in hard labour, or use them to entertain perverts, or harvest parts from their body to sell to others who can afford to buy them. Amen.
