Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Luke 8:15 (NRSV)**********"I BET I'VE READ JESUS'S PARABLE of the Sower a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. I'm Southern Baptist after all. I cut my teeth on a black King James Version Bible, and I thought I had these verses zipped up in my mind. But the other day, some completely different things stood out to me. Specifically those bits about holding fast to the Word and bearing fruit "with patient endurance." ***I've always seen myself like the seeds in good soil. None of the other options fit my experience. This is more of a credit to my parents than myself. With them around, no birds had a chance to eat the seeds and thorns were not allowed to choke them out. Rather than rocky dirt, the home where I spent my formative years was a bed of potting soil with "Miracle-Gro" and my parents watered me daily. ***But now I'm an adult. I've lived long enough to be broken by the world. To get discouraged. To be tired. To wrestle with doubts and ask questions that don't have answers. And there seems to be something here for this stage of life that I never noticed until I needed it.***The seeds hold fast. They hold on. They spread out and dig deeper into the good soil, so the Word takes root and grows to bear fruit. It's like they're stubborn about it. And apparently the fruit doesn't always come fast and easy.
