Eternal Father, God of love, forgive our omissions and sins of yesterday. Accept our intentions and the efforts we do to please You. We are weak and frail. We shall always be susceptible to be attracted to things and practices that are not pleasing to You. However, look at our persistence to do things the way You wish and accept this as our offering to You. Abbā, humbly I turn to You. "Why do you seek the living among the dead?" Luke 24: 5 (NKJV)********"THE RESURRECTION IS EVERTHING, ISN'T IT? It's a metaphor for the whole Christian life. Without it, what's dead is just dead. Over. Finish. Buried forever. No hope of new life springing forth. ***But in Jesus, we have the promise that death is not the final word in our stories, not only in an eternal sense but every day. In the accidents, the bad choices, the disappointments, the thousand other deaths that make up a lifetime. ***The worst death of the kind that I've ever suffered is the death of a relationship. It's too painful now to even write the details. But someone I loved and trusted with all my heart broke that trust. And in turn, broke me. It's as if I were crushed into particles of dust. It has taken years to put the pieces back together. And what I've found is that sometimes when you've been broken and put back together, you don't fit back into your old life. At least not in the same way you once did. It's like pouring new wine into old wineskins. it just doesn't work.***The problem for me is that I loved my old life. It suited me perfectly. And so, the temptation even now at times is to look back and long for what I once had. Because the way forward is unfamiliar. O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. and all my friends and family from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military.
