FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT - God of Life, be with us in our journey through Lent and life. Remind us of the story of your love each day that we may truly believe in our hearts that you are our God. In our moments of choice and decision help us to choose wisely. Have mercy on us when we don't. Remind us amid our struggles to always call upon your name for help. Enrich us with your gift of hope that will enable us to always remember your love. Amen!

Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Please pray with me for my son,Kevin, for Tesla, and for all drug addicts. I beg God to remove the scourge of drugs from our world. I also ask for God to hear our prayers for social justice. That he will soften and heal hearts and put an end to racism. Please, bless those with Covid19, protect us as we begin to move about more.Be with the medical community as they race against time to find treatments and vaccines. God, our Abbā in heaven, You are the sole owner of our life. Although most of us cherish it, You treasure it as if it were the only thing You own. Father, I thank You for being so much committed to my life. In the name of Jesus, our astute Lord, I plead, grant my loved ones and me that what we do or say today will be a song of praise to You and will give glory to Your name.
