God, You gave me life to cherish. I thank You for this special gift and give glory to Your Great Name. When You gave me life, You gave me a chance to be with You in Your heavens. But only if I hold Your rules, which, although not hard to obey, cause friction with my weaknesses. Among them, I had smoking, which was killing me slowly. Thence I ceased smoking. In Jesus’s name, as You helped me stop smoking, please give smokers the courage to do likewise. Help them come out of their addiction. Amen.
