My name is Shelly. I was recently diagnosed with advanced uterine cancer. I am struggling with the physical and emotional issues surrounding my diagnosis and treatment, the uncertainty of my future, and the fear of dying. Heavenly Father, please have mercy on me, cure me of cancer, restore me to good health, and bless me with a long lifespan. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
In addition, the month of May is particularly sorrowful for me. Mother’s Day falls in May. My mother’s birthday is in May (5/17), and so is her death date (5/9). Lord Jesus, please bless my mother Katherine. Let her be at peace with You and Father God in heaven, and may she feel my love every day. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
