THE BLESSING OF
UNANSWERED PRAYERS
I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all men, most richly blessed.
My Dearest Heavenly Father thank you for the blessing of another Sunday. Thank you for your abundance of gifts, grace, love and miracles. Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit please, please hear the prayers I hold deep within my heart and soul. Despise not my petitions. Lord Jesus Christ the world desperately needs your divine mercy and especially your peace. Holy Spirit please enkindle your love into the hearts in all God’s children. Amen
For our children and the children of the world, may they find peace, love, joy, their path, salvation, and freedom from war, oppression, hunger, and war. May the world's leaders and adults recognize the ruinous path we are pursuing, and make the changes we must, through the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Trinity.
For the repose of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
For healing love and hope for Dan, Karla, Daniel and new baby. God have mercy on them. May the Holy Spirit be their guide.Amen.
Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my potential relationship journey. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me with a partner that will never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make any complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally and through our actions express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray.
Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide the guidance and knowledge base that my daughter requires in her pursuit of her college degree. Allow her to have the ability to reach true independence and protect her from any harm. Protect and guide me and my career path and assist me with obtaining and maintaining the financial growth and stability I need desperately. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and peace of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and financial independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy state. Let there be authenticity, respect, truthfulness, transparency, sense of being valued, and genuine love in the relationship that I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Bring peace and justice to our country as it is so needed. Thank you for all of the blessings that you have bestowed upon us as we are forever grateful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Abba Thank You for Fr. Michael's gift to the Body of Christ. We will miss him while he is away. Also, Father God thank You for helping me let go of a few things. Help me to adjust to new people, places, and things in my life sent by You. Open my heart to help those who are hurting in my neighborhood, and order my steps in Your Word. Jesus assist me in loving the unlovable people whom Abba places on my path. Help me Jesus to know when to hold them, know when to walk away, and know when to run. Jesus I want to be more like You.
