THE BLESSING OF
UNANSWERED PRAYERS
I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all men, most richly blessed.
Hevenly Father, I pray for your great mercy that with your blessing, my mother will always be well inspite of her advanced dementia. I also pray for those who care for her selflessly especially my sister Nicky Felipe. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for all you do and all you provide for each of us. Please help the World and all in it. Lord, As I prepare my thoughts to begin Advent, enlighten me to set out on the right path.
I pray for Amber that she reconnects with her family and that she thrives with her financial struggles. I pray for Laura that she truly finds herself. Her father wasn't there for her as a daughter =he had an abusive childhood and did not know how to be a father. I pray for him in his struggles with his childhood abuses and lack of love. I pray for my dental and back problems that I may find a solution for them. Thank you Lord for all of your blessings. And I pray for peace between the Palestinians and Israelis that will last.
On this Feast of Christ the King, may the priests and religious be re-energized, find answers to questions that they may have, and continue to lead us to salvation

Abba Thank You for the many blessings You have given me in my life. The greatest Blessing You have given me is Your Fatherhood to me. Abba You are the Best Father to me, and for that, I am very grateful. In addition, You have given me Jesus. Jesus Thank You for Your Word and becoming Flesh to show me how to live Your Word out in my life. Forgive me Jesus when I fail You through sin. Help me this Advent to be true to Your Word in every area of my life. Holy Spirit I need Your help now that my state has approved abortions and smoking dope in our last election. The values of the world oppose the values of God. Help me Holy Spirit to do the Will of God on earth so that Christ The King is honored and adored on earth and in heaven. If it is God's will, may my heart health be managed or restored so I can continue to provide for my family and enjoy my time with them, may my care team have the wisdom to find the right course of treatment, may the treatments be manageable for me, may I tolerate any side effects, and for those around me to pay attention to their health
