PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Please help me pray with my son who is very far from me (he is alone in my home country, the Philippines, as my husband just died last April) that we can receive our permanent resident status in Canada already. i believe everything has been completed, so please if we can have it as soon as possible, please Lord.

Please pray for Dylan, a victim of parental kidnapping. Father is delusional, lives in Maine, has had Dylan for nearly a month now, mother has custody in MA, still can't get him back. Father may be back on drugs. Terrified for Dylan's safety.Pray for his safety, for his swift return to mother, and that Maine court will recognize Massachusetts jurisdiction. Fast!

Please pray for my late husband, John Bosace, who died a week ago Thursday, quite suddenly - and me. Though his health was failing, this came as a shock. I am bereft, and need all the strength that a community of God's can provide. We were prayed for recently in a Mass, and we so appreciated it. It was about the last time my dear husband could truly participate in a Mass.

Please pray for my family members in need of financial help, also for all people who are struggling in this tough economy, for the Seniors who are not getting a raise in Social Security checks, may they and all who are struggling find help in the Lord. Also, for my deceased family members, that they may be watching over us, and for all the deceased may they all rest in the peace of our Lord's loving arms. Pray also, for my family's health problems so each of them will live a happy and peaceful life. Thank you!!

I need to keep my house so that my sons don't have to worry about what's going to happen to me. They're so stressed because after all these years of taking care of them, they can't take care of me. my prayer interntion is for my mom, my cousin and a friend. God, heal her my mother's hands and keep her into your heart. for my cousin - to have a full recovery from her stroke and to my friend who's having chemotherapy since june. hope things will go well for all of them. thank you Lord for everything and I owe you my life.
