Loving God, we thank you for this holy season of grace. Help us through your grace to see the goodness in ourselves and in others. Give us the strength to believe that you are always with us even when we struggle. Enliven our hearts with the gift of hope, a gift that we through the living of life can bring to the world. May your spirit of life, love, joy and hope always be within our hearts and help us to celebrate each and every day of our lives! Amen!

Please pray for my Uncle Steve and his family who had a heart attack yesterday and coded. The doctors were able to bring him back, but he is in critical condition. I pray that God watches over him, and if he is in a lot of pain that God takes him home.

Please pray for my husband, David, a man in his 40s who was diagnosed with a high grade sarcoma (cancer) in his left bicep in September, 2012. He has gone through extensive radiation and had 4 surgeries (the first 3 were unsuccessful, nearly requiring the amputation of his arm). Chemotherapy is not a valid option.
