For my mother, Jane Elizabeth Ogwapit, a devout catholic, true and faithful daughter of God, whom He called to rest on September 8th 2013, the day of our Holy Mother's birth.
My mother was a missionary in Kenya, who's life was dedicated to The Lord. She loved God so deeply, so completely and so devotedly. Her missionary work lives throughout the Catholic Women's Associations in Kenya, and in the Catholic Churches of St. Paul's Chapel, Nairobi, Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Nairobi, and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Mombasa. She helped build these churches and communities and her legacy lives.
Praise to your Lord Jesus Christ, and thank you for my mother, my best friend, my anchor, who taught me about God and who brought God into my life.
Gracious Lord, keep her well, keep her safe, grant her passage, and welcome her into Your ever-loving arms to rest in Your eternal peace with Jesus, our Mother Mary, the Holy Spirit and all the Angels and Saints. May Your perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.

I am writing about my son, Bryan. He lost his job this past Friday as his firm let him go.
He is a good man, strong on the outside, but this shock has hurt him so deeply. I worry that this event may scar him in the worst way. He is the emotional and physical mainstay for his his family (Jennifer and Connor). I know he will gain another position, for he is a talented man. Bad things often happen to good people. I am asking for assistance so that the bad event will lead him to a better life.
I am praying for him so that he will overcome this struggle and regain success for his family's security but also for Bryan's personal welfare. Pls Lord, cut him some slack. I 'd appreciate it. Amen.

Help her to stay on the right path and and find friends who are genuine and good. Take away all our sadness and worries Oh Lord- about our health, our finances, our relationships. Watch also over our parents as they age that they may age gracefully without too much pains and aches. Watch over me and my husband Oh Lord, that we may be closer and that we may resist temptations and reach out to make things work. I continue prayers for both Leslie and Christine for their anxiety and depression, for Faye's continued healing from hip surgery, that Forrest finds a job soon, that Mom does not need back surgery, for Sheila and Joan as they battle cancer, and for Dad and Paul as they live with dementia.
