Thank You Jesus, Lord God for allowing my daughter to be safe. Please allow my family and all to be safe from harm and healthy. I pray for my daughter her continued safety. I pray for her to obtain a full time job in her field of study. She graduated and is not working full time for which she studied. I know and read of so many people not working or under employed. I ask to allow all to find employment, all to have their health. I read about so many people having all these problems and health issues please help everyone. Thank You for my belief and faith. Without my faith I really would have nothing to keep me going and my family. Its is amazing what you can really do without, its difficult we need to pay bills, taxes, food, housing and stay healthy. Please continue to watch over us keep us safe from harm and troubles. Please help all. Help us with employment. Thank You always.

I have asked for prayers concerning my Lung Cancer.
Thank God Prayers have been answered. It is my hope this short letter I wrote will help others.

Today is August 23rd 2013 and I have a story to tell. It is full of pain and joy. Anxiety and peace. Faith and Prayers answered.
I think without faith this wouldn't be possible. It is proof that there is power in prayer. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we can use in any situation.
I spent nine days in the hospital after an operation to remove a cancerous lobe in my left lung. To face a frightful operation like this would drive a non believer crazy with fear. A Believer on the other hand has faith to depend on due to the promise's of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The tumor in my lung was touching the chest wall. Even with the lobe removed it was possible the chest wall would contain cancer cells. If it does it would require radiation to kill the remaining cancer cells, hopefully before the cancer cells spread through the system.
The anesthesia was enough to keep me asleep for the whole operation. When I woke up I couldn't believe all that was done to me. My side was sliced open enough for 60 staples. They removed one rib and fractured another. Removed the upper lobe in my left lung, Placed two chest wall drain tubes in me with two measuring boxes at the other end of the tubes.. A catheter in my bladder. The IV needle was expected and I was happy to have it.
Now awake and trying to deal with the new additions to my body I found it troublesome to walk with the attachments. With two boxes in my left hand and the IV machine on wheels in my right it would take some maneuvering to walk around. I couldn't do it on my own so two nurses would help. One would place a special belt on me so I wouldn't fall. I had plenty of company.
When I first walked into the hospital I was at peace knowing that I had so many people praying for me. This is why I knew I had God with me.
The rest of the story will show you that prayer works. The Nurse's were amazed that I was up and walking as soon as I did. This isn't very common with an operation like I just went through. I would walk every chance I could. Until I was stronger I needed so much help. Once strong enough I could walk with the help of my wife. Bless her soul, She stayed every night with me.
Everyday was the same, pills and meals three times a day. Every two or three hours a person would take my pulse rate, temperature and oxygen rate. Every three hours antibiotic's were placed into my IV line and run for, four hours. Five in the morning an xray was taken to see how my lung was doing.
God sent a Priest to me about twice a week. I was able to receive Holy Communion every day. It is a Catholic Hospital and every Doctor and Nurse there were very friendly and you could tell they loved their jobs. A lot of Prayer's were said by many of the patients for each other. It was moments of great joy when someone was going home. I was happy to be there to see such faith by so many.
Three days ago one tube was removed from my chest. To my surprise no pain removing the tube from my body. Just when the doctor put a stich to close the hole. I was down to just the antibiotics so after four hours I only had to take one chest wall drain box with me on walks.
My lung is expanding and looking better everyday. I am just waiting for the last tube to be removed. Then Homeward bound I go. The doctor is also waiting for the results of the chest wall tissue to see if there is any cancer left.
This brings me to today. The Doctor removed the last tube and I was remain laying down until after another xray was taken of my lung. It was about two hours then the xray was taken. The Doctor returned with the good news. My lung was doing well and he told me I am now Cancer Free.
My results are due to the Prayer's said for me by so many people which most I don't even know.
My Wife's and My prayers were answered today with the great news that we received.
We have prayed for you with so much faith, we know you are Blessed.
