PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

Dear God thank you for the lessons you have given me and my family. Please help us to learn from the past and make smarter decisions in the future Please give my sister the money she needs to pay all help and all bills this weekend. Dear Lord thank you for making me well and for bringing me home from the hospital. It was such a long time that I was in there but I was very well taken care of. Lord, I offer my prayers in thanksgiving for all of the blessings You have bestowed on me, for the physical, emotional and spiritual health of my loved ones, for my deceased family members, for peace in the world and for all who are suffering in any way. I offer my pains, sorrows, disappointments and anxieties in atonement for my sins. Please heal the hurts in our family and reunite us. If it be Your will, please heal my health problems. Please bless me with the strength and wisdom to always do Your will. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved and honored always and everywhere.
Please Lord as tomorrow is the anniversary of my father John's death and ironically the date of my appointment for my oncologist. I pray that will not be given bad news. My father died from complications of kidney cancer which I now face as well. I pray this is taken away from me, that the Lord will heal me, body, mind and soul. If not, Thy will, not mine be done. That my daughter will find a good job and be happy, healthy, and safe. That she remains close to the family and know that she is loved and thought of. That she meet nice people who will be kind. generous, and supportive as she is. That we will be together for the holidays. Thank you Lord.
Lord, I am fifty, and this mid-life thing is kind of a bummer. So, I try to think of things that are wonderful, that spark to life "stuff" that one may perhaps forget at times. Well, it's a fact that in the right hands, just a cow bell and a stick can make people dance, I mean right get down, and smile. Amen.
I am asking for relief from daily headaches, which have left me unable to do much. I have been dealing with a chronic illness and am trying to keep positive. I ask Jesus to touch me in a special way as He did in the stories of healing in the Bible. Thank You, Lord for hearing me.
Please pray God will save us from being in need at this time. We are going through a rough time and need prayer for God to meet our basic needs, and I need a job to support my family. Please pray God will save us from the trouble we are having financially and please pray He will provide us with the food we need at this time.
