PRAYER OF LOVE - If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

God the Father, I pray for my fellow countrymen, in the southern part of the Philippines who were badly devastated and displaced after the deadly typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) hit the province. I also pray for all the demised soul of all who did not survive the calamity. Nonetheless, please watch over those who survived and yet are suffering. Bless all those who are extending help, the entire international community, may they all be safe from harms way. I know how hard it is for them but, I just could not help but pray for all of them. I pray for relief from chronic pain in my legs, feet and ankles. It feels like a belt is being tightened around my ankles. I have tried many remedies. I don't know if I can continue to feel this way. I am finding it hard to stand. I ask my fellow brothers and sisters t pray for me.
