A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Dear God I thank you for giving me another year on earth. Thank you for the lessons that you have given me this past year. Please help me to change positively over this coming year. Thanksgiving for ALL blessings rec'd for myself, family and friends. And i ask for the New Yr that I be given Financial stability, health and clarity of mind to do the work that needs be done by me in 2014. Above all, comfort of mind and heart in the loss of my very dear loving and best friend. Help solve a problem and major decision of a school closure and support of my best friend also who was director of the pre-school. Praise and thank YOU Lord for hearing these petitions.
