A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. my lord thank you for all that i know and do not know that you have done for me. you see what i am about to confront now , i pray that you will help me find a way to deal with this situation . i feel helpless but not hopeless for i know that one of the verses of my most loved psalm is"i will be with ye in trouble, i will deliver ye and honor ye" lord, i know that i am not alone in this situation. my lord, hover over me.amen

Please Lord watch over my family and friends, especially my husband, who is battling cancer once more. Please Lord help him with his pain. Please Lord, i also beg you to help my eldest son to believe in you again, and please help him, to find a job, and to have a normal life. help him to stay healthy and not to get depressed , he is such a kind soul. I thank you Lord for helping me and my family over 17 years of difficulties and my husband's battles with cancer, YOU got us trough it and never abandoned us, I'm forever grateful. Amen

Within the next two weeks, I hope to be in a rehab for my MS. I pray that it will help me to get my life back on track. Months of inactivity have led to a weakening of my leg strength. Balance is also an issue. Please, Lord, guide my steps.

Please pray for me. I really,really need help. After eight years of battling with alcoholism and depression, I'm trying to get my life back, but everything seems so grey and empty now. I feel, I don't have any purpose to live anymore. I feel lost and in despair now. Heavenly Father, please, enlighten me and show my way in life. Help me to find the job I like, the place I wish to live and please, give me the purpose to live. Also, please pray for my mother Dana, recently she had a stroke and very ill now.
