God why oh why have you forsaken me? Why are you letting me suffer so much. My faith was so strong that you would assist me and yet I am drowning. There is NO MONEY, NO FOOD, NO ONE TO HELP. Why is this happening to me dear Lord. I pray everyday and ask for your help, but instead of getting better it gets worse. Lord I am hungry and cold and still you don't help me. I don't understand why you won't help me. What did I ever do to deserve this treatment?

Novena to St. Martha St. Martha I resort to your protection and aid, and as proof of my faith and affection I offer this light which I shall burn every Tuesday comfort me in all my difficulties and through the great favor you enjoyed when our Savior lodged in your house intercede for me and my family that we may be provided in all our necessities. I beseech you to take infinite pity in regard to the favor I ask of you St. Martha (Help us/grant that we reclaim ownership of our farm and my sister’s house and home back; have the ability to pay all bills and be able to help others in need.) and that we may be able to overcome all difficulties as thou did'st the dragon at your feet. Say three Our Father's, Hail Mary's and Glory B's. This prayer is to be recited on 9 Tuesdays in succession and each Tuesday a candle should be lit and a copy of this prayer left in church to help another soul in distress and to support the devotion to St. Martha. This Miraculous Saint grants your favor before the Novena is over.
