ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Please pray that I have peace in my life. I have an abusive brother who is such a bully, non-stop fighting with me, screaming, yelling, cursing, hanging up on the phone on me, constantly on top of me, and attempting to make all the laws for me, and has made my life so miserable and is taking full control over me since the passing of my dear Mother (RIP) and has a wife who is a 2-faced cut-throat backstabber. My life is never going to be the same. I have been praying so hard for peace and feel this will never come to me. What am I supposed to do? I want him out of my life completely. He just keeps pushing, pushing and he will not stop at me. He is an unhappily married man, who is constantly laying the law down for me.
Please pray that Fr. Gordon MacRae will be released from prison very soon, that all the charges will be dropped against him, and that he can return to preaching the word of God.
Please pray that I will be blessed with meeting a Catholic, Irish man, who is marriage-minded and would be a faithful husband to me.
Please pray that the Good Lord will bring Brendan and I together soon, and that we will be united in Holy Matrimony, in the future, according to God's will. I have been searching for a very long time for a good Irish husband and will be very, very happy if this works in my favor.
Please pray for Phil Reilly that he will meet a nice wife. He is such a holy man and he would treat her very well. He deserves a good wife more than anyone else.
I pray that the Holy Spirit enlighten me when I do the write up. I pray that my enemies will not laugh at me. I pray that God will grant that I get restored to sanity, without having a jt, changing rooms and without taking the stand. God why oh why have you forsaken me? Why are you letting me suffer so much. My faith was so strong that you would assist me and yet I am drowning. There is NO MONEY, NO FOOD, NO ONE TO HELP. Why is this happening to me dear Lord. I pray everyday and ask for your help, but instead of getting better it gets worse. Lord I am hungry and cold and still you don't help me.
