FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT - God of Life, be with us in our journey through Lent and life. Remind us of the story of your love each day that we may truly believe in our hearts that you are our God. In our moments of choice and decision help us to choose wisely. Have mercy on us when we don't. Remind us amid our struggles to always call upon your name for help. Enrich us with your gift of hope that will enable us to always remember your love. Amen!

Prayers for my grandson that he gets his fractured arm probably set tomorrow, it's been two weeks, and she is having a hard time, and finally got an app, and now there is weather warnings, the poor little guy is suffering with this temporary cast, and now has a rash.
Please pray for my family. My granddaugter a good job and to get back in school.her name is Brittany and pray for my niece an daughter-in law to get alone in the up coming new year.

I pray that my son, Lester, will overcome his insecurities and fear in life. May he grow up to be a God fearing man. May he forget his hatred of people who constantly hurt him. May he learn to forgive and forget and move forward instead. May he make the right choices in life and may he find a trade or career to help him get through life and sustain his own family in the future. I was scapegoated by my own parents and family as a child. The abuse carried over into the local community and has unfortunately followed me throughout my adult life as people saw me as an easy target that no one saw worthy of defending. My children were even targeted and we became the victims of vicious false allegations meant to isolate us from the community. Fortunately my children have left and I hope the abuse does not follow them but I am stuck, unable to leave as I have no job and the assassination to my character is making it difficult for me to find one. I have fought back against the accusations but many times I have been the victim of further retaliation, further damaging my character. I am currently fighting false allegations that have resurfaced from 40 years ago. I wish to live in peace and have a normal life. The phrase "life's not fair" is not appropriate as it is not "life that is not fair" but rather it's people who are unfair. I deserve justice in this lifetime for me and my children. I deserve to live in a community where I am welcome and appreciated and I deserve a job where I am welcome and appreciated and that is appropriate for someone with my skills - no, working at McDonalds just to have a job is not an appropriate answer either. Those are just some of the pathetic comments that I have received as I have struggled to overcome repeated past injustices stemming back from an abusive family. Everyone knew what my family was doing, they just chose to turn their backs. I reached out over and over, asking to be placed in a childrens shelter to no avail. Anything would have been better than the abuse, pain and repeated humiliation I was forced to suffer.
That my husband's eye cyst operation goes well and quickly and that no future cancer will develop. Also, please let my oldest daughter find peace....she is very troubled and has turned to drugs and alcohol. All around her are suffering, especially her 3 children who have been taken from her with the hope of returning. I pray she finds the inner strength to cope with her situation and realizes what is really important.
Lord Jesus have mercy on me...please heal me from high blood pressure and chest pain. For peace at home and safe journey to Grace and George Thank You Jesus Praise You Jesus Amen

To our Son Cory, who choose to take a different path in life. He claims he's strong with everything going right in his life but in reality he's weak in body and soul. Shuts the door on everything and won't listen to advice on life and jobs. We need prayers that somehow he will find his way back to God. We believe God has the strength for him to find it in his heart.
I am a live in caregiver for my mom who is 102 years old. Needs much assistance with daily living so I am not able to attend mass.Christmas for me has alsways been attending mass. So, it's a little hard yet the joy I have in caring for my mom far exceed the challenges. My gift to Jesus this year was trying to take care of mom the best way I can. His gift to me I feel was having mom.Please pray that I still feel apart of our Catholic community and know Jesus is with me."Whatever you do for the least of my brother and sisters you do for me." I think that is the correct writing of scripture. I think of Mother Teresa when I prayed this morning asking Jesus to make me a pencil in hid hand and to use me.Please pray that I care for mom with compassion and the love that Jesus would and does daily. Dear God in Jesus name, please help me stay calm. So many things are happening right now. I'm getting so confused and forgetful, it's scaring me and my family and friends are Impatient with me. I don't know wher to start in some of my things I need to be planning and doing. My breathing is bad from lung disease , my anxiety is sky high. I need your help and guidance Dear God in Jesus name. I can't keep pretending I'm ok, and I don't want people to be upset and not understanding . I worry constantly even when I try not to. Please dear God in Jesus name help me.
