Thursday after Ash Wednesday -
LENTEN JOURNEY - O God of Life, as we stand before the roads that this day presents to us, enliven us with the wisdom to choose the road of life. As we walk this road less travel keep us ever mindful that we are not alone that you walk with us. Strengthen us for the crosses, the challenges of this road. Grace us with the hope that we will always find your presence, your forgiveness, your mercy, your truth and your love as we make this journey. May we choose the road of life today and let it make all the difference in our life and in the lives of all we meet! Amen!
I humbly come to you today dear Father in heaven asking you to pour out on us your blessings in these fearful times. Let us know and see that you alone are God our provider, our redeemer and our help. I offer up today prayers for my family, friends those who are sick, homeless and the faithful departed. Peace be unto us.
Dear God in Jesus name please closely watch over my son, my daughter, my grandson, my friend and me. Please be with us and keep us all safe. Please Dear God in Jesus name let my son be drug and alcohol free. Please ke him safe in his commutes and don't let him get into any car accidents. Please don't let him be laid off his job and please help his move to a new apartment go well. Please guide him in his relationship and also to be kind caring and patient with people. Please guide him to do what's right. Thank you. Please dear God in Jesus name help my daughter feel better. Please don't let her be hurt anymore by those who are bullying her and spreading untrue rumors, and harrassing her. Please help her feel better sadness and depression. Please let the upcoming therapy be very helpful. Please help her be a positive guide to her son who is going through very hard times mentally. Please stop him from thinking of hurting himself, and please guide him to get some help. Please don't let him take his own life and guide him into more positive thinking about his future. Thank you. Dear God in Jesus name help me in trying to cope with everything going on in my family. Please don't let me get depressed and sick over this . Guide me to know what to do and give my strength to do it. Please help my breathing be good and my coughing not be so painful. Please don't let me gave the muscle and bone pains or right eye pain. Please help my stomach muscles not be so sore from coughing. Please help me to stop being afraid to drive and please let my car be safe. Thank you. Dear Godin Jesus name please help my friend be ok. Please help his driving be safe and don't let us get into any car accidents. Please help our relationship. I feel he has become less patient with me. Please guide us. Thank you God for everything you do for my loved ones and me. Please hear my requests in this message. Heavenly Father, What can I say to give you enough thanks? As You dwell in my heart, You know it as well. My love for You runs too deeply to tell. For words cannot express the gratitude I feel, whatever You want-- may we share the same will. Help my son and daughter to gain employment. They are starting to doubt their faith,especially looking at the world's issues, it has been 4 years and 2 years since they completed their degrees without gaining any employment. They have told me they need a clear sign, direction, not subtle. I told them that it can come through something they read, hear, think or a person. They said we need something like a flashing neon sign, something big and clear. Something they won't miss.They are discouraged. they have done everything right but have not gained employment. From their mouths to your ears Lord, hear and answer them. thank you, Lord, Amen. I entrust them to you God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
