ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Birthday blessings Lord for my dear sweet husband who is afflicted with heart disease and alzheimers/dementia. Also sweet Jesus please place your healing hands over my brother Gary who is struggling to recover from a mechanical heart pump surgery. He just lost his wife less than 2 months ago, so his family is suffering too .. Praise be to you God ! Thank you each and every day!

Please keep him drug and alcohol free. Please keep him safe in his commutes and don't let him be in any car accidents. Please keep his job safe and his home life peaceful. Please help him calmly handle his increased financial situation. Please help his girlfriend in her mental issues and to stay peaceful. .please dear God in Jesus name help my daughter to be happy and start to plan a better life for herself. Please don't let her suffer with her depression, anxiety, paranoia, or worry. Please guide her to be careful with her money. Please give her strength when my death comes. I pray in earnest that when my time comes I will not suffer and my death will be very peaceful such as in my sleep. Please help me not suffer with bad breathing , gagging choking cough, muscle cramps, spasms, pain and now new onset of liver pains. Please Dear God I put my trust in you and please don't let me suffer these two dis appeases. If you don't cure me please let it be tolerable. If possible let me somehow be able to get the treatment if not dont let me suffer. Please help me to be as productive as possible. Be with me every minute Dear God please I'm very scared and I am starting to be in pain. Thank you . Please Dear God in Jesus name help my friend be patient with me and help me. Please keep his driving safe and don't let us get into any accidents.
