Dear Lord; I pray my ex-husband(married 30 yrs)asks for forgiveness, speaks truths to our children(spouse)& grandchildren of his actions in causing estrangement & has committed many years as an adulterer, battering, using the whole realm of abuse that our children witnessed & were influenced by him to abandon & disrespect their mother, taught to show respect toward his many mistresses, of whom he liquidated our marital assets to buy them homes & have children out of wedlock with.
Forgive me Lord, for not wanting our children involved in our marital troubles, nor did I want them to know of his many mistresses, that I kept quiet, allowing him to belittle & disrespect me as the mother of our children, that he had control on all. Due to my fears, being weak, & insecure, wanting to have a family, I tried not to cause conflicts. Now I am suffering the effects of this, and my regrets are staying too long in a bitter, disrespectful & abusive marriage, where I had been battered to being hospitalized & financially abused & abandoned. Forgive me Lord & please forgive the father of our children, give him the courage to tell our children(spouse)& grandchildren the truth!
