ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Please pray for Maria (age 76+) who is in the last stage of cancer (palliative care) and is very close to death. Her husband, Lars (90+) also needs prayers - alzeheimers. Pray that I find a good seniors residence soon. Praise God. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Lord; Please place Your hands over the city's park's dept to remove a huge, fallen branch that dropped on the front of my vehicle soon, as the stress & having strangers threatening you with a chainsaw that doesn't work for the park's dept, was near the car cutting it, upon calling the park's dept & Senator's office informing them of this, I've had not received a response, even though the Senator's office did call after I made calls informing all necessary that this event happened in front of my house, the park's dept did come the next day! I've called 311 in Feb & Apr 2016 to get help from the city, to no avail, now I have to deal with insurance co., city, etc to repair damages & removal of the tree. My stress level is high enough, dealing with my brother's estate, an attached neighbor 24/7 use of toxic fumes & heavy construction for 4 yrs 6 mos,I live in my home 43 yrs & have not had a problem with my neighbors! No matter whom I called, it was fruitless. Lord, you know my needs, concerns & stresses, please send a MIRACLE, help me please! Thank You for hearing my prayers. May God Bless all.

Thank YOU for answering my prayers of a few weeks ago. My son did indeed get the job with the New York Stock Exchange. He will start this week. I also believe he has seen the light and has begun to make positive changes in his life. All which I had requested prayers for your intervention dear JESUS! I do believe you just have to have faith and believe that all things can happen with GOD'S love and help.

Most grateful for the Sunday Mass, Fr Greene, the Eucharistic Ministers, Choir, all whom serve to bring this gift to those of us whom are having difficulties going to Mass at our parishes. Thank you. "Loneliness; Today I'm feeling old and unwanted. It seems like on one wants to be bothered to come visit or call. There's nothing to do, my housework is done, I have no new books, I keep the television on for company. I would call my family, but they have their own lives They are always busy. I know they love me & visit when they can. Help me find joy in Your presence & peace in this quiet time before I see my family again." Dear Lord; I am imploring Your healing hands to lay over my son, his wife, my two grandsons, especially my grandson J, who's suffering a severe concussion, is frightened by the loss of memory, as he's always been above level(genius level)academically, & quick to answer questions, very bright & curious, now he's having difficulties putting sentences together or remembering, he's also suffering the effects of this with nausea, dizziness, & trouble staying awake. Please send him a MIRACLE that all his skills will return to him & he has a full/speedy recovery, that he & his family have a comfort in healing. PLease Lord, hear my prayers. Thank you.
