A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Pray for son struggling to get a home for his family
My husband lost his position as a youth/outreach minister coordinator and I am disabled. He is deeply depressed and angry. Please pray for him that he may be able to overcome this emotional swamp, find a means to meet our monthly expenses and keep his insurance and feel worthy, loved, wanted, needed and useful again. Please pray also that the health declines due to stress and depression may be reversed.
