A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. A satisfying well-paying job that uses my best skills and where I am valued, appreciated and treated with courtesy and respect. A new lovely home in a community where no one knows me and I can start over because I have been slandered in the community where I live and the slander has caused me to be shunned and ostracized. No one deserves to have to live this way. Success, good health and prosperity for me and for my children. For peace to all.
