PRAYER OF SAINT DOMINIC
God of Truth you gave your church a new light in the life and preaching of our Father Dominic. Give us the help we need to support our preaching by holy and simple lives. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
Please help me with my finances. I have worked hard all my life and would like to retire soon. Had my aortic valve replaced three years ago but am still working. Owe too much on my house. My house needs a lot of repair work. Need to find someone that will do a good job and charge me a reasonable price. This I ask through Christ, your Son, Amen.
After visiting Puerto Rico this week, please remember the citizens of this ravaged country. Keep their safety and attempts to rebuild their country in your prayers. There is much to do and very little support from the world to do it. As the next disaster or tragedy fills the headlines, don't forget the island and its inhabitants still need your help. Thank you and Amen.
First of all, I want to praise the Lord. My nephew's wife has cancer. I put a prayer request in and her chemo treatments started working and she got to go home to be with her four kids and husband for Christmas. Amen!

Dear Blessed Virgin, Immaculate Mary, Mother of God, on the eve of the day when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, intercede for us that we shall not simply remember the birth of your Son, but truly live the love which God meant for us when He sent a human being in the person of Jesus Christ to save us and pay for our transgressions. This is proof enough that God is love. Thus he loves us always and all the time. Help us imitate you in our love to God, and allow us to a taste of Your joy. Amen.
